Hey aaron - I've actually got a vine maple stave in the garage right now!  :laugh: I cut it about a year and a half ago and recently tried working it down some, but the Gerber knife I was using just isn't cutting it. So until I can find a decently-priced drawknife, it's not being touched.

I got an uncle in Marysville that is really involved in primitive archery and helps organize a number of shoots and bow building classes.  He kinda looks like Pat B, poor sod.
