Tree stand advice

I need to buy a new climbing stand suitable for archery.  Would like to stay under 250.00.  Headed for Bass Pro tomorrow

I don't use a climber but my son has for a few years.  He has a Lone Wolf and has always said good things about it. 

 Not sure what they cost though??

Make sure you get a stand you can adjust the level on when you're up in the tree.  Otherwise you have to guess what angle to set the base at on the ground and hope it's right when you get to the height you want.  I would also recommend a stand that uses the stand up/sit down method to climb and not a climbing aid.  You'll need a good limbing saw so you can cut limbs that are in your way on the way up.

I preferLoggy Bayou climbers but there not making them. Summit or API have some good bowhunting climbers and BP should have both for the money. Good luck

The lone wolf hand climber is the best 350 bucks I've ever spent! I'm a better deer hunter for it, but if I had to buy another climber and only had 250 to spend I'd get the summit open shot. Summit stands are great but nothin is going to compare to lone wolf as far as quiet from the ground up. Just my 12 cents ;)
