just wanted to resurface this thread to see if you have made any progress.

i did make some, not as much as i would have liked, but i have bent it about 6 inches( including the 2 inches of glued in reflex) its still a little heavy, and feels like its could easily be over 160 right now which wouldn't hold up with these woods im guessing, so i need to remove some more wood to get to the target of 120-130, bit it feels like this might work well from what i have seen far

what way is it, is the oak the backing or the maple? As far as ive experienced, with a good oak board you can get away with oak backing because its good in tension.

I have to be honest I think in this case reflex is a bad idea; but good luck with it.

red oak is not really a good choice of backing, especially not a 120# bow, Bub
