Christmas decor
« on: December 23, 2012, 10:48:00 pm »
So I started 6 years ago making a decoration every year for the Christmas tree. My wife has got to the place where she expects it now and won't let me skip a year now. This year, I pushed it right down to the wire cause I couldn't figure out what to make. So I looked in the scrap pile today and found a little cut off of yew and carved out this little figure.

Here's some of the ornaments I've made in the past.

Anybody else do this stuff?

That is really cool.  You did a nice job on it.   I did the same thing making an ornament my wife and now it's a tradition.   I'd post a picture of the one for this year, but it's already wrapped.

Cool!
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

When my mom was alive she used to make egg shell ornaments - I think my dad still has some of them.

Scott, I love the snowman!

So.

Would that be a Yewl ornament ?
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
