Pardon the questions, just trying to determine the worth for my purposes.

i looked and it is galvinized.i thought it was stainless,buy i was wrong.

yes it is braided cable Mark.i get it from the elevator guys at work.it is the cable that operates the doors.it is braided 7x19 galvanized 1\8" 82 foot a roll.sorry i wasn't clearer.i am a knucklehead.
