osage D-bow for Laurin 35/27 (No. 15)

Have again internet problems, esp. with uplaoding photos (damaged)  ....
will try later again and post some other pics, hope it works then


but here are a few:
this bow is for young Laurin (5 years),

Osage 54" ntn, bending handle
35# / 27"
mass 290 gram
handle built up with leather, 2 woodpecker feathers glued on

Just beautiful! Love the feathers! What kind of glue did you use on the feathers? That's a great idea :)

this time I used thinned tbIII. First apply the feather on an adhesive (not too sticky) with the outside, the cut of the bulky shaft (bellyside) beginning from the bottom. The feather is now like a wet noodle, but still on the tape, now apply the glue and put it on where you want it. Trimming the shaft helps lay down the whole feather for good connection.
Hope my explanation is understandable.
