Pappy:
PAHunter check out our web site[lot of stuff to look at plus a section with all the local motels listed with #s [twinoaksbowhunters@wordpress.com] and I would say kid friendly for sure. You may see someone drinking a beer but I can assure no one will be out of hand,we try and keep it under cover as best we can during the day, now after dark is different but still I won't allow anyone to get out of hand I promise you that. Between Kerry and Mike I can assure yall there will,be
plenty of yellow wood to go around. I have talked to Mike and will talk to Kerry and yall can help in this, please don't sell someone a stave that has never build a bow and have them come over and want in the selfbow challenge, its tough enough for a new person that has never built a bow to get one ready to shoot in a couple of days if they start with a bow blank. At very least have the ring chased if it is Osage and a bow laid out, then they have a chance in getting it shooting. :)
Some think the selfbow challenge is a class on building bows, but in truth when Gary and I thought it up,it was supposed to be ,you come build a bow and shoot the course for score, our thinking was everyone was in the same bolt.No real time to tweak or tune the bow or get use to it.If you didn't get a shooting bow you didn't meet the Challenge. Simple  ??? Anyway it is always a great time for me and I am really looking forward to it. See yall soon. :)

There are some hotels about 10-15 minutes away.  I stayed at the Holiday Inn 2 years ago and had no complaints.  Last year I stayed in a tent and had a much better time.  The place is very kid friendly also.

TRACY:
Absolutely kid friendly! Mine have been 3 times now starting at 6&8 years old. My wife is coming again this year!

thanks guys!  I'm gonna try my best to make it down this year.  I'll see if I can talk my wife into making it a family trip.  :)
