Rich, first thing I do when I get home is get rid of the boots and find my flops.Got lots of small cuts on the feet from knapping in them. Justin when slippin' up on something just slip then in the back pocket and go "Au Natural" ;D

hey eddie, nice bow, i am starting one of the same wood combo, only not bend in the handle.  for comparisons sake, what is the thickness of your limbs mid limb and at the nocks.   mine is about the same width.

Keith,The thickness is 1/2" from just past the handle area all the way to the tips. But the last 8" I worked it from a flat belly to a wedge shape all the way to the tip.I kept the thickness in the ends but narrowed and made the belly almost like a knife edge.Thats why I didn't cut nocks in the tips. The loop is held in place by the center of the horn and the back of the tip flattened.Make sense?

Looks like a great bow. I like how you did the tips. . I know what you mean about the speed. I bet it put a smile on your face the first shot.

Eddie, that is an awesome bow!!...I've been on vacaton in Arizona for nearly a month and missed this one when you posted it....I really like Ipe and backing it with boo is a real classy move...I bet it shoots as good as it looks in the pics...bring it out to the swamp and we'll go stick a pig......maybe we can talk about a trade...I've got an ebony and desert ironwood turkey call I just finished......................Charlie
