another ancient quarry

I did a little walking in a new canyon. We found this quarry next to a high bluff.

Wow, that is cool Don!   I've found mounds before that have lots of debitage on them before, but nothing like that.  Very nice.  Those blanks look great.  Good looking flint.

Nice tabs too!  I wouldnt mind moving down there myself!  My son live in Conroe not sure if there rock there told him to lok but typical teen..lazy!

Ok scott and I are driving down to visit. We will meet you there at the quarry ....what was the gps  lon/lats again lol ....just kidding great find but someday we are coming down.

Lord no. That's a very small part. The quarry covers a couple hundred acres .Its about 1/2 a mile from the road. I'm going to walk in again & do some spalling.
