Hey Pat,

That turned out really nice. It looks really periodish to the early 1700's or so. Love the file work you did on the tang. Glad it worked for you. The one I finished up from another blade tom sent me of the same steel is scary sharp.

P.S. I've been wanting to start forging too, if i ever find an anvil, its moving to the top of my hobby list.

I like it. thats a really great carving whittling all purpose knife,
blacksmithing for me, has also been one of those interests waiting on the back burner.
