possible wood that is to dry?

Ok I have, and keep a good bit of my staves in my house.  I live down here in SC with plenty of humidity.  The staves I keep in my house have dried for quite a while outside.  Really seasoning them now.  Would it be possible that they can get to dry from being in my house?  I do not have a moisture meter to use.  The ones I have made so far I have not had an issue with them yet.  I do move them outside some while I am working and tillering them.

Probably not. I keep my staves in my dry basement and have some that are at least 10 years old. While working on bows I keep them in my house and with the wood stove it is very dry.
  Be sure to exercise your wood ofter while you are tillering. I think this helps.

Are they split staves or roughed out bow blanks?

Most are split staves.  There are some roughed out, and some in progress.  I do not have a wood stove or such, just a heat pump.  Thanks Pat.
