Dang Greg, your singin my song.  I have no seasoned Osage ready.  Powder post beetles on my Hackberry so I gotta chase a ring, Mulberry not quite ready.  But...a buddy is comin over saturday and I'm trading one of my Mulberries for a Bois d'ark stave.  I need to cut some wood!

I can't wait to start on mine. I've got ideas so far and enough material to make em happen. Just need a name...  ;D

I'm going with osage.  It's all that I have.  But hmmmm, which style shall I pick?  Darn, its so versatile.  Maybe something out of my norm, maybe not?  Long?  Short?  Character?  It's gonna have to be special.  What will it be?  Guess I gotta wait for my name...

I've got a nice piece of vine maple that has about 3 1/2" of reflex. I'm want to make a bend through the handle hunting bow with it but I need to wait to see who my recipient is so I can make sure this stave can handle the draw length.

Man, I can feel the excitement and I ain't even in the bow trade.  :D  The anticipation gets those bow building juices flowing, the cogs in our heads are cranking and soon the chips will be flying. Its almost as much fun just to watch....NOT! ...but I'm enjoying the heck out of it so y'all keep it up.  8)
