Glad the bows made it to ya safely Brad. I had a great time building and shooting them, although your 30" draw had me a little intimidated. I did learn that I can shoot pretty decent at that long draw length I just have to keep my face out of the way of the string ;D. It only took one time to learn that lesson. This was my first trade and I had a blast and will definitely be looking forward to it again next year.

Sweet looking hackberry Bubby, someone will be very happy with it.

Lucky guy, Steel man. A 2fer from Okie and both look sweet. Nice job on both, from what I can see.

I have an ash bow that I'm working on, and I'm trying to decide if I want to remove a little prop twist or not. How much twist will you allow before you will remove it? I will try to post some pics latter today.

Almost never remove prop twist.  Personal preference, but a bit of prop twist is prevalent on many of my bows with no ill effects.

The trade bow I'm working on has a little prop twist in one of the limbs but it does not affect the performance, just adds some character.

mine shipped today, had a new gal at the p.o. and she tried to charge me $62 bucks and change for the same size package that I usually pay $22, so it's going parcel post, it's in a pipe so it will be fine just takes a few more days, bub

looks like the prop twist stays then. I will get her out to 27" then slap some sturgeon skins on her.

I like the look of Sturgeon on a bow, fish skin in general looks good on em.

It was too tough of a decision Carson, plus everyone needs at least a couple of osage bows in their arsenal :)

A couple of teaser pics of my 2013 trade bow #2. It's an HBI with a little reflex/deflex and crepe myrtle and purple heart tip overlays. I just added a cork handle and shot it about 100 times. I little stiff spot appeared just out from the handle on one limb that I need to scrape a couple of times. I put a light coat of water based walnut stain on the hickory and sprayed it a couple of times with shellac to see how it was going to look. I am not going to say what the weight is, but she really flings an arrow.
