eric oughta be shooting his very first bow next week!
but for some reason i never got a shot of it last nite....
neil split this yella stave into two very nice staves

good news-wayne just got  online for the first time and will be joining pa soon!

well pappy, there is a learning curve.
they'll be whipping out arrows in no time and wont need me anymore  :(
did make em start with taking feathers off a turkey wing, splitting, grinding etc.
but i did not make em use shoot shafts nor cane that had to be straightened. and straightened again
let em off easy with store bought poc shafts, nocks n field points  :)

Good times, Sadie! Arrows are a slow man (or woman's) game. Good to see Wayne on here. Always like seeing his work, too!

Sadie:  You are right about the arrows.  I learned early on that making arrows from local materials in Northwestern Wyoming was a very tedious and long task!  Sometimes I spent more time looking for a lost arrow that I did hunting!  I could make a usable stone hunting point in a few minutes, but an arrow took hours and usually over a day!  Are you going to the Classic?  Joe
