« on: February 16, 2013, 09:20:28 pm »
So my wife is going back to work and im taking time off aka daddy time lol. This also means a lot more bow building  and shooting. My son is 1 and loves to watch me while I'm shooting and"bowyering". I like to think im brain washing him lol. Hopefully i can turn Brody into the next generation of great bowyers.

If babies and little kids got more time to sit around and watch their parents doing REAL work every day this world would be a better place. Soon as he's a little older you can give him a chunk of scrap wood and an old rasp and let him go to town while you're doing your work. I promise it will be a million times better for him than the latest ipad app.

Got asked at the last minute the other day to watch my 2 1/2 yr old grand daughter the other day. Problem was I had a day of bow making planned out in the shop area. She really enjoyed being in the shop "building" as she calls it. gave her a scrap piece of wood and another piece as a fake rasp and she was trying to imitate what I was doing. So cute.   Danny
