Thank you George, and thank you for the advice. I am actually about done with this bow at the moment, I just need to sand burnish and wax it real quick. I have just been a bit busy lately (in other words, lazy, :) ).

Haha, I am going to take that as a compliment, ;).

I finished this bow up a little bit ago and thought I would post a couple more pictures. It came out at about 125# or so at 32". Regarding most peoples opinion on hickory as a belly wood, I only ended up with 1 1/8" inch set on each limb, which for a heavier weight bow I am very happy. And this bow was not heat treated. I am convinced hickory will take the compression forces of a medium heavy weight warbow with no problems. I did not baby this bow during tillering in the least, and it sat static on my wooden notch tiller tree many times, which IMO is one of the most set inducing things you can do to a poor innocent bow during tillering. There is no fulldraw picture, as I am a wuss and can't draw anything over 100# or so at 32" anymore, :D. Tiller is basically the same as the previous full draw pictures though.

Very nice! Love the nocks. Nice smooth transition to the limb. I'd love to see a full draw. Stand on the string and pull! I don't have much good to say about hickory as belly wood, but you did awesome. Brace pic looks good. Did you chase a ring on the backing material, or is it 1/4 sawn wood?

Thank you adb! ;D There are a couple fulldraws if you go to the first page of this thread, I believe. The backing was a 1/8" slice of straight grain rift sawn. I might be able to get my wife to take another fulldraw pic while I step on the string and pull, but the tiller is basically the same. Lately I have been using the video recorder on my camera to take a video, and then go into windows media player and take a screen cap of it when the video is paused, and that seems to work ok.
