Wood id please

Picked this up in central Va. Can u id it?

My best guess from the pic is probably one of the ornamental cherries or some sort of fruit but that is just a guess. It is too big for red osier.
 Where did you get it? Do you have pics of branches and tips? Did you cut it fresh?

I got this from the George washington nation forest lake noomaw shoe line in with the driftwood.

Pat B:
I wouldn't use it for a bow if it was in a driftwood pile.
