I got this stone in an assortment of slabs from meet in Silver Springs. I think it is jasper. It’s nice material whatever it is. Scary sharp.
Handle is whitetail antler with a rosewood button.
All held together with my pitch glue and sinew.
I like it. Hope you do too

Beautiful work, Brian. Have a ton of jasper around here. Mostly smaller pieces but occasionally a big one will surface. Bright red. Next time I find a good piece I'll send it to you, if you'd like.

I find little pieces of it here to, but never anything big enough to make anything out of it. I would like that Thomas. Thanks for the offer and the kind words.
