bone points

<< < (2/2)

wolfsire:

These have held up against my target.  The bone was from a pet store.  I have read fresh bone from the flat side of the leg bones, oiled and heat treated should work best.

Kegan:
Thanks guys! I was just wondering, it seems my crude stone points "break" really easily. Bone doesn't. I can also make them better, and just wanted to know if anybody had any experience with them. Thanks alot guys, it REALLY helped ;D. Guess I have to get to work :)

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing.  :)   Good to hear that they will work!
I hunt with my uncles and they already think I'm crazy, just wait until I pull out a bone pointed arrow!  ;D :D

Just make sure to check your hunting regulations.  Some states explicitly prohibit the use of other than metal points.
