What type bows (materials) and equipment qualify for traditional archery shoots?

Pappy:
Most places it is no wheels or sights.Some places you have to use wood on longbows.
at our club you can use anything on Longbows and recurves but must shoot wood or Cain
on selfbows.On a long bow the string must not touch the bow except on the tips.We
allow selfbows to be backed with sinew,rawhide but no wood or Boo.Hope this helps. :)
