Feathers
Hillbilly:
Whooping crane feathers work better anyway. :)

We do have a winter visitor down here,Canadian White Pelicans. They have a 7' wing span, and if you get too close with an Airboat they flap their wings real hard and big feathers fall out ;D
david w.:
i saw a dead hawk on the way to school today i know its illegal but ::)
Glenn R.:
BigWapiti, all of the feathers mentioned I'm sure will or could work, but be careful in observing your states game laws ???In Illinois our turkey buzzards are protected as part of the falcon family, also even road kill feathers from owls, hawks, ect. may not be used. Its a dirty shame one has to worry about these things, especially if nothing fowl ( ::) pun intended) is going on but it's a reality. I use goose and turkey.
mullet:
Big Wapiti,ALL the feathers mentioned above are illegal in all 50 states except the goose and turkey or other big barnyard birds.
