I lived most of my life in the NW corner of Iowa.Twenty miles from S.D. & forty miles from Minn. The little town I lived by had a rendering plant there.I knew all of the fellas working there especially the foreman.I showed him places to sell things like horse tails, ram skulls, jaws, teeth etc. & he in turn would give me road killed deer hides that came into the plant. So it was'nt long before I did my first hundred lot of brain tanned deer.Did most of it in the winter in the basement with a wood stove & a fan like you see in the picture.Still do this day do every deer that I shoot but not quite on the scale that I was doing them back in those days. It's not the dirty smelly job that some people think.

I like the jeans Ed! Sweet! You look like you should be standing next to be playing a guitar while we jam out some Skynard.

Thats a cool pic for sure, thanks for sharing.
