Fathers Day knife

(1/3) > >>

osage outlaw:
I made this knife for my Dad.  It was a late Fathers Day present.  I bought the blank from somebody at the Classic, I can't remember his name.  I started to shine the blade up but I got it to this point and really liked how it looked so I left it.  Jon helped me with the scales and showed me some tips for putting it all together.  Thanks for the help Jon.  I appreciate you taking the time to show me a few tips.  I know you guys are busy down there.

I'm still not happy with my leather work.  This was my second try at a belt sheath for it.

knife look's nice, I make a paper template for most sheaths and just keep cutting till I get what I like

osage outlaw:
Thanks Bubby.  That's what I did with this one.  I struggle with keeping things even and making the stitching look uniform.

I think it was Allen Corn that was selling the blanks, Clintster.  I haven't done anything with mine, yet.  I've picked it up about once every two days, lately.  Likely, I'll get at it soon.

I like how yours turned out.  What did you use for pins?
