antler buttons

I cut some antler buttons today for some arm guards.  I was wondering if I should coat the flat sides with a layer of super glue to stabilize the antler and strengthen it. Your thoughts?

Yes.  Good insurance.

madcrow:
I coat my elk antler, but with solid whitetail, i don't bother with it.

Same as madcow,depends on the material,if it is solid[no] if pores [yes]
