I used a fiber cut off disc also.I cut mine all the way through but may try just scoring it next
time,just hadn't though of that. :)

Pappy,  Scoring and snapping is not an original idea.  I learned it here in one of the threads.  The edges come out a little ragged and need grinding, but it's a lot faster and there is less chance the blade will bind in the cut.  Ron

The one I shot the hog with was as simple as you could get, just a triangle cut out and sharpened, lol. The best ones I have made, though, look a lot like Ralph's.
Along with Ron and Pappy, I use a fiber cut off disc.
And one more thing, I used ferrel-tite to glue them in at first, but epoxy holds up much better for me.
