Like what has already been said, DON'T LET YOUR BOW SIT ON THE TREE DRAWN ALL THE WAY BACK THAT CAUSES EXCESSIVE STRING FOLLOW AND COULD BREAK IT. Don't do it. Ive already done it my self let it sit for 30 seconds and BOOM! Exploded on the tree

I found myself using the brim of my cap on one bow a while back. Mostly to see how even the limbs looked in the early tiller.
