PEARL DRUMS:
Your in for the trip of a lifetime. Enjoy every second and soak it all up on each hunt, nevermind the deer. You only get one rookie season.

Damn straight.  It's gonna be one hell of a season.

I've been looking at places to hunt as I know no one with a decent amount of land.  The best and closest place is the Victoria Glades Conservation Area in De Soto, Mo.  I've thankfully found a decent map of the place and just need to try to get out there and see if I can find a good spot with a funnel.

Why do you need a lot of land to bow hunt on.

I live in BERKELY CO. WV I have hunted places as big as 250,000 acers in WV. But around here almost all the the farms I hunt now are small or have been cut up into smaller peices. Alot 5 to 50 acers.

I'm at 99 bucks in all. Alot of my bucks have came off little 5 to 50 acer places.

So don't over look small parscels of land.

Mike_H:
well, two acres with mostly yard and little woods is not ideal at all.  But I have a good place in mind right now and tomorrow we'll see how well I do. =)
