Nice bow! Don't you just love working with yew! Yew has become my favorite bow wood, and I never worked a piece till June! I'm on fifth now and have staves for several more on the drying rack .I'm fortunate to live here in the Pacific Northwest where it grows in relatve abundance. To bad for you poor guys who only that yellow stuff to work with!

Thanks everyone!Yeah I just love the contrast of the heartwood/sapwood,and its easier to work than the elm and hickory I am used to.Guess I'm a little jealous of you west coast fellas-Hammertime
