We didn't weight it.  It did have a pretty healthy body.  I got a lot of meat from it.  In fact I'm going to grill some steaks at work today for lunch.

I finished the Euro mount.  I still need to epoxy the nose bones but its basically done.  The antlers aren't as dark as they look in the picture.

mullet:
Howed I miss this? Congratulations my friend, I'm relly happy for you. That's an awsome deer and cool story. It made my afternoon sitting over here wishing I was in the woods.

JW_Halverson:
Another nice euro, Clint.

Poor mullet.  Getting paid for doing nothing on one hand is great.  Being idled away from home during deer season on the other hand....well, let's just say that it is the polar opposite of great.

mullet:
Thanks, JW. I've been waiting since May to get my Kodiak 1959 from Big Jim. It came to the house yesterday. Now, anyday is a James Parker horn bow going to arrive also.I want to go home. :'(. I'm living through you, Clint, and all of my other bud's knocking them down. ;)

osage outlaw:
How soon are you coming home?  Hopefully in the next week or two.  The rut is getting close.  Scrapes are popping up every where around our place.  A nice 8 walked through my parents yard and made a scrape under a pine tree 10 yards from their porch yesterday evening right before dark.  I'm pretty sure he walked by my Dad's trail camera so we should get a picture or two of it.
