Cant string my warbow. HELP

I just had the same prob.
I bought some 4mm hemp rope on line, it stretched a little, but soon settled down and does the job nicely.
Mind it needs substantial nock grooves.
You have to make it it only just long enough so you can stretch it to get it on. If it is easy to get on, it is too long.
Almost anything will stretch a bit.

Paracord is the only stuff I've found that works for high poundage warbows.

Yup, I use 550 paracord, stretches very little. Takes knots very well, holds em when needed, and can be untied when needed as well. Makes great tiller strings too.

Thanks for all the replies. I also think I might be strong enough to pull the bow to the required height to get the string on :(
Must be something I'm doing wrong!?

Are you putting both feet on the stringer? One to either side of your hand on the bow?
