finally made some i haven't made any meat yet but they throw great

I use to carry one in my quiver,, never hit anything with it tho but in a survival situation they would be handy for birds and small rodents........The one I carried was just a seasoned piece of hickory about 2 ft long kinda oblong () shaped, the diameter of a broom  handle and chiseled on the other end for digging.....They throw pretty good at close range and hickory packs a wallop.
