Great buck and great story Will, I've been on that blood trail rollercoster more than once.  That's a very nice bow also, love the way the limbs taper and fade from the skins to the tips.

I'm new to the pa site but I met you this past summer at twin oaks.  I'm the guy who showed you the tree saddle and strap on climbing steps.

I hope to spend more time learning from you , pappy and the others.  I have gone out this winter And split some Osage, found some nice river cane and I'm helping a friend to prune his peach orchard.  The straight shoots from the peach and apple trees look like they would make great hard and heavy arrows. Ever hear of someone using peach for shafts?
I have access to a LOT of them.
Let me know if you think it's worth the time to collect them.

Thx, Ed aka forest farmer
When I stop learning please put me in a box!
