Love this bow. Like the look of the snakeskins on the yew. Did you stain the back to get the colours to show like that?

No stain Richard. The skins had all the color. Ive used a lot of rat snake skins, I love them. They seem to vary quite a bit from state to state.

It was about me thinking the core grain didn't matter on a backed bow if the backing was good, WRONG!
