Arm Guards
« on: December 01, 2013, 01:51:00 pm »
Howdy all. I haven't done any leather work for a long time. I've missed it, so I've been a busy boy over the last couple weeks. I made a bunch of leather arm guards. Here are some pics...

If anyone wants details on each piece, just ask. Each one is unique. Various insert materials... stingray, ostrich, beavertail, cobra, python...

I'm looking for staves in trade. Osage or yew.

Couple more...

All are lined with soft suede... either tan or dark brown.

How about billets, Adam? I have both osage and yew, all well seasoned. I've had my old arm guard for many years and it might be time to retire it.  ;)

Send me pics of what you've got, Pat. I'm open to billets.

Those are very fine examples of leatherwork, buddy.  Thanks for showing them off!

Nice work!

Man, that's some nice leather work there! I don't need an arm guard anymore because a  permanent crook in my elbow from shooting these selfbows, but if I had what you needed I'd trade you anyhow. Again, super nice man!     Art
