Yeah, he's been hiding out in broad daylight. Just not online. He's a master fer sure and I'm quite certain there are a few more like him out there.) I've met a few pretty fair bowyers and their not real into the new fangled technology. In fact most of em are the loner type. Not hermits mind you, they know how to act in public. But their thing is just doing their thing. Kinda like the rest of us, only once we got runnin water and lights we figured out how get someone to show us how to get online and see what is happenin somewhere otherdn here.
I was working in Topeka couple years back and figured there was someone up there might have a shoot going on. So I called Mike at The nocking point and ask him ( he's in Winchester not too far away). He told me about this shoot put on by some club I'm too intoxicated to remember, but thats not the point. I found it though and there was probably 12 guys there along the Kansas river, all shooting mighty fine self bows they made themselves. 90% were over 60 and there were a couple ole boys that were in their 70's. That was a cool find fer sure. So like I said before, I"ll bet there is a whole lot more guys doing this thing we love so much that are'nt even on the radar.
Tell that fella hi from all of us Bryce and that we really appreciate his work. Oh and by the way, he needs to quite hoardin all his stuff and send me one of his sorrier bows, lol. Danny
