Hmmmmm, what was that warning about the kids posting pictures of themselves on twitter, and face book, etc. because you can get the GPS location from the picture.......Oooops, sorry.  Not to worry, Eddie won't be up there, he found out his flip flops aren't suited for cold weather in Canada, a while back.

sorry!
my bad.

Too late now buddy! It was on Higgins, off the north west corner of the island in about 90 feet, just on the edge of that 120 foot hole. It doesn't seem to matter where you fish as long as your in 80 feet plus and they are feeding.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

PD
that's a popular spot.
some fellas I work with fish the same area.

we fish steelhead thru the ice with the same set up .
but with spawn.
a coal boat came into 1 lake and a dredging barge into another and put the screws to the ice on both for a while.
so no slammer fishing for chrome this weekend.

love hard water fishing, and so do my boys.... Last year, my son and I hit a great day for the pan fish, and he caught enough (by himself) to feed the family and put some in the freezer.  The kid was SO proud he provided the fish for dinner, and probably ate his weight in fillets too, ha!

ICEFISHING 101 - As promised to our southern freinds
1. Find frozen lake
2. Drill holes Note- power auger good
3. Setup shelter - Use cordless drill for lags... Those t-handle lags suck
4. Light up heater
5. Set rods
