I LIKE IT!   would love to see a braced shot of that bow.  Nice job!
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Sweet bow! never heard of green heart before, is that a natural wood? really cool bow!

Yep it sure is. very dense over 1.0 s.g., very hard and able to take lots of compression. It is what was used to make fishing rods in the past.

Nice! So... how much (or little) tillering did it take?
Virtually non I just rounded the back and belly. Cross section is elliptical. I think i'll be making another of these soon and i'll really goto town on it.

That turned out pretty darn close considering you didn't have to adjust the tiller much.

Careful though, some folks don't take kindly to cookie-cutter bows around these parts...  ;)

Just messing!
I want to make a bow that the abbreviation (hbi, bbi, etc) spells something....but I failed  >:D

I thought you were saying something in Welsh.
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Welsh!!! Haha...Welsh is indeed gogbledegook to anyone who doesn't understand it!
Try saying this - Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch........longest place name in Britain (Wales)
