looks good to me, i also make strikers from dumprake teeth, how are you hardening yours? i heat the face to a dull orange and quench in motor oil, and then temper everything but the face of the striker to a light blue, leaving the face as hard as possible.

im doing basically the same as you
but using the goop quench from the $50 knife shop.(basically bacon grease -lard and some atf mixied in)
then I clamp in the vise  and torch temper the ears.
