klamath River Blade
(1/1)
Bryce:
i found this pic in an old folder. if i remember correctly it was at the 'Portland Art Museum'
anyways the blade was close to 2' in length maybe a little longer. but i wasnt impressed with the length. what was so beautiful about it was its uniformity and carfefully placed flake scars i wish i had better pics but the alarm kept going off everytime i got close and security was already tired of me from when i was getting photos of the bentwood boxes:D
Mohawk13:
Nice. Helluva piece of work there. Wonder what they used it for. Find points and flakes all the time on My property by Bly Mountain, but never anything like that...
TRACY:
Emery coons makes some big blades like that.
YosemiteBen:
Large blades were made for Ceremonial purposes.
JEB:
doesn't Emery hold the worlds record for a blade?
