Well it was going good until my notches stalled :( on this Oregon moss agate.

Well, there's only about 100 Woodland era points that look just like that.  You might try punching it if you want to go deeper. You get points however for superimposing it over a dog.

Yeah lol she's a weird pup likes to pick up the sharp pieces and hide them or just lay on my feet while I knap over top if her.

Moss agate is an odd material to work.....

I find points with notches like that in our fields that's a beautiful point how's the agate work.

What are your hunting weights Bryce? Looks good, notching is all aesthetics once the notches are big enough to hold a wrap anyway. By using shoot shafts you can gain weight up front to make up for lighter points. dp

Do you have a PA subscription? There was a good article by Ryan Gil two issues ago that talked about this. His hunting weights are 70 to 90 grain if I'm not mistaken. It was called, "Are you shooting arrow heads or atlatl heads." I'll look it up when I get home and get back to you if you are interested.

Yeah I've read it and I don't agree with the article 100% there are some good points though.
