my comment about "not reading enough" was meant as good- natured ribbing: you asked about finding a 100lb scale and later said you wanted to make a 65 lb bow. Well-read bowyers know that you only need a 65 lb scale to make a 65 lb bow because one of the cardinal rules of tillering is "never drew the bow past it's intended draw weight.
