Some New Hunting Arrows

(1/2) > >>

Kegan:
Here are some bows I've been working on as of late. Home doweled 3/8" hickory shafts, 5 1/2" red sheild feathers from 3Rivers (I'm outta natural feathers), hand feltched with artificial sinew. The thread was dabbed in Elmers white glue, and then waterproofed with pitch. I sanded the shafts with sandstone, then waterproofed them with the first rub of deer fat. The broadheads are 2 12" long by 1 1/4", made from an old circular saw blade, then riveted into the shaft with a dab of epoxy. Three .30-30 casing blunts and six broadheads. Most consitent arrows I've ever had at one time ;D.

They look like killers, Kegan. I like the trade points.

cowboy:
Nice set a arra's Kegan - I like that deer hide quiver too, need to get me one put together...

Hillbilly:
Good looking stuff, Kegan.

Kegan:
Thanks guys :). This is the first time I've had more than two consistent arrows at a time :D.
