Antler and turkey knives

(1/3) > >>

Stringman:
Had a chance to finish up a few more knives. The antler knife is made from a piece of purple sheen obsidian. Hard to make the "sheen" come out in a photo.

The second is from a piece of local Burlington that was heat treated to near 500 degrees. Turkey legs make one of the most unique knife handles I've ever seen. This one is capped with a piece of bocote and both of them are attached with pitch and sinew.

Thanks for looking!

BOWMAN53:
your bird leg handles always gross me out scott

Danzn Bar:
Really cool stuff there, Scott.  your very talented...

Will H:
Those are all great! Them turkey handles don't gross me out, I like em a lot!

Stringman:
I'm pretty sure ol Jordan's just jealous. If in fact he is turkey bashin, I'll straighten him out if he ever come this side of the divide!  >:D

Im planning to put a knife on the classic table again this year, just haven't picked my favorite yet.
