Scott, looks like some very challenging material. Is that a healed fracture right in the middle of the Etley :o And the Snyders looks like it has layers of hard and then chalky layers. Excellent job of getting flakes to run. I like the old look, your client should be real pleased with both of those points. Bob

Yes, the Snyder does have a grainy layer that made driving flakes a challenge. Even so, I was able to keep it fairly thin. The etley does indeed have a healed scar that can be seen from either side. The symmetry was hard to nail, but I think it turned out nice.

Them points look great. Makes me want to try an etley point.
