spring fishing 2014
« on: March 18, 2014, 09:31:32 pm »
if your into fishing like I am and are getting out
please feel free to post up pics of your catches.
I will start this off.
I know we still have a lot of snow but the ice is leaving the river and its time for some spring steelheading.
not a huge fish but very respectable by great lakes standards.
31 in long and 14.79 lbs on my digital bow scale.

Not much better than fresh salmon. Yum!  That fish looks pretty respectable to me.  8)

I waded the local Clinch River Saturday for trout.  Only caught one, but it was a decent size brown.  No pics.  Wading and phones don't mix well for me.
