Judging by the turn out we had at George's Cross Plans get together...
A good turn out wouldn't surprise me to much...

When folks (Specially Texans) take it in mind to Get Together,  no Hurdle is Too High, no Lake Too Far...   ;D

Instead of my Smoker, I'm planning on bringing my Deep Frying outfit.
Along with my Camp Kitchen...

Cipriano mentioned bringing some Rattler for the Frier...

I'm very much looking forward to it...
Been wanting to cast my eyes out over Lake Sommerville for some time.
And the opportunity to see old friends and meet new friends is Priceless.

What are we doing for food and lodging?  Is this in a camp ground?  (Not that I have a tent anymore...)  Mary is planning on sending something for dessert, like brownies or these chocolate/marshmallow things that are to die for...  Since Gus is coming I don't have to worry much about cooking, but I do want to be sure I bring Jack's and my share of the food we need.  I for sure have some wild boar Italian and breakfast sausage if you can do anything with that Gus. And there's always venison in the freezer.  You didn't happen to go fishing again did ya?? ;)  Let me know what I need to do.

Whew Whoo!

It will be Great to see you there George!

At this early stage, I'm thinking there will prolly only be two big meals,
Supper Saturday and Breakfast Sunday...

Was looking to Fry Rattler and Fries Saturday evening...
And I can bring my Webber Grill for Smoking some sausage and maybe a steak or two, and Hotdogs for kids...

Also, I was thinking of whipping up a batch of Grandma's Coleslaw to bring as well.

I guess we should try to get a Head Count and go from There.

See y'all Soon!

Change of plans for me, for the better.  We will be there Saturday before lunch.  Moved a few things around.  I will bring some Axis deer steaks for the grill!  Tent camp for the night I suppose.

If there's someone else add to the list.

Scott, git yourself down to Dallas on Friday and you can ride down with Jack and me!  We were going to hog hunt Friday nite up here but with all the rain this week I suspect the woods will be submerged.  Downstate is really supposed to get hammered today.  I hope the place we're headed is high ground.  Bring your bug spray!
