New hunting clothes... Dark Ages/Medieval

Being in historic clothes A LOT... I find this as or more comfortable than a lot of things. I think it will be good for most of deer season but I fear a bit warm for the early part of bow season. That is not my favorite time to hunt anyway and will maybe just sit it out some.

INDEED >:D Actually I have an ax that would do nicely!

MAN! That was long ago but still fondly remembered!

Hey, Isaac
Cool duds.
There is a group of like minded folks you might wanna check out... they hunt in medieval and norse garb.
St Hubert's Rangers. Google it.

Yes, thanks! After posting my blog, someone commented on it with a link to the St Hubert group. I have been slowly reading and looking at it. It is very interesting and, I must admit, inspiring. I have done a lot of 17th and 18th century hunting for game of all size (flintlock and matchlock) but seeing what they do is awesome and I look forward to giving it my best attempt!!

Great Get-Up there Isaac! I've always been told to be careful wearing anything white into the deer woods though. Not as big a deal w/ the bow, but be careful if hunting during gun season in that white tunic. Looks great though!! dp
IsaacW:
Thanks. The tunic is more of a pale greenish yellow and by hunting season will likely be dingy and dirt on top of it. It will not be worn during the gun season, especially with hunter orange requirements. T
Thanks again,
IW
