Nice work Chuck. I like the nice look you came up with using stain on the osage.

Thanks everybody. Simson, I have collected all the books and info out there as well as examining bows from museums. The Encyclopedia of Native American Bows Arrows and Quivers" is the easiest way to get the stats to make a replica though.

Thanx for sharing the homage. Inspiring and impressive.
Huntington Beach, CA … there's no trees here but we do have lumber yards.

Thanks Chuck, I have this book. I have hoped you can point me to a museum homepage where native bows were listed with description and measurements  8). I never found a good site ....

Always enjoy seeing your work, Chuck.  Your article inspired me to pick up my horn bow project again, as well. :)

I can't decide on whether I like the bows or the quiver the most. I'll call it a draw. I like all of it. CC
