I had this dacite point about ready to sharpen when I got a wild hair to put a flute in the base.  Never guess what happened next... :'(

Shoulda brought it over here and borrowed the jig George. Lol.  Man that bites! Looked like a dandy up till to that point.

Sad to say I hadn't read about your jig until after I'd broken this one and was thinking about posting the picture.  If I get a couple big points to the point of fluting them I'll give you a shout.  I'd like to see it in action and it'd be nice to see you guys again.
