This is how I got my handle of NC Long Hunter...Many hunters such as Daniel Boone would go on extended long hunts for fur and hides to sell. They were given the name of long hunters. I portrayed the long hunter for several years. Now the ABO interests are guiding me.....

That is a sweet rifle my friend. Like the garb as well.

Thank you fellas!  Good looking thunder stick longhunter!  Nice bucks fellas!  Tim, you got me to laughing over the bug on your glasses.  Surely, there's more folks than this on here, though.  Maybe its not such a problem for a lot of you, but for me and my bad memory it sure helps to be able to put a name with the face.  I hate to admit it, but at events like the classic I get to talking with so many people that introductions get skipped.  I'll remember the conversation, just not who I had it with.  Anybody else have that problem?  Josh

Here's one of me from a few years ago...

...my wife Marcia, my daughter Meredith and myself. I'm the looker in the middle...

Probably about 1980-81. Mere was born in 72 and we moved to Bluffton, SC in 1978. That pic was taken in our 16' Boston Whaler in the May River, Bluffton, SC.

He once brought a knife to a gunfight... just to even the odds.  He is the most interesting man in the world.  PatB doesn't always drink beer, but when he does, he prefers Dos Equis
